DITP’s overseas trade office in Seoul and the Korea Importer Association (KOIMA) brought 120 trade delegates from South Korea to visit Thailand from July 11 to 14 to enhance trade relations between the two countries.
During the Bangkok trip, the DITP and KOIMA hosted a seminar entitled ‘Thailand-Korea Strategic Partnership: 60th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations’ in the morning of July 12, followed by business matching activities in the afternoon. At the event, five trade and investment MoUs were signed between Thai and Korean businesses.
South Korea is Thailand’s 10th largest export market with bilateral trade value of US$12 billion in 2017.
