Thai Brands Showcase in the Netherlands

Eight Thai SMEs in home decoration, cosmetics, and food and beverages industries participated in the PLMA’s World of Private Label 2018 held from May 29 to 30 in the Netherlands.

“The fair is another important channel helping Thai entrepreneurs to extend their businesses in European markets,” DITP Director-General, Chantira Jimreivat Vivatrat, said on June 8. “Thai companies had business discussion with large retailers and initially, they expect [to achieve] total sales of US$ 600,000 (20 million baht) within one year.”

Products receiving most interest from buyers include coconut juice and coconut products, sauces, Thai curry pastes, ready-to-eat food, fresh fruit and processed fruit, canned pineapples, home aroma products, face cleansing and anti-acne products.
